Deb's Lake Conroe Real Estate & Stuff! : Making a sale has never been this much fun!

Making a sale has never been this much fun!

My dear cousin Ruby asked me to help sell her Time Share  in New Smyrna Beach, Florida. She listed it several times before even costing her out of pocket money with no results. The fees had risen dramatically since her original purchase and due to age and health she could no longer enjoy it.

Ruby wanted me to go for her week in her bungalow on the beach to take photos and in turn I would market the deed for her. Could I say no to this one? Not a chance.

The girls and I had the time of our lives!

Beautiful huh?

The view from our Bungalow was magnificent.

Colors of the beach

From the moment we arrived I knew I would have a difficult time breaking away to try and sell it! I just wanted to go play and bask in the sun.

Glimpse of our courtyard

Colors of the Ponce DeLeon Lighthouse Prism.

We climbed 203 steps to the top of the Ponce DeLeon Lighthouse. The 360 degree view was phenomenal. The colors off the prism of the actual light were lovely.

The Lighthouse was built in 1876 and has been meticulously conserved. The climb was worth it.

Sharing the Cheetos!

Can it get more perfect than this?

Does it get more perfect than this?

Sandy Randy and his beach art.

We met Randy on the beach and he turned out to be quite the artist! He introduced himself as sandy Randy~lol.

He worked quickly. High tide wasn't for another couple of hours. I'm glad to have these shots before they were washed away.

 Deb, Penny, Melanie, Ice Cream...yum.

Cooling off with ice cream.

Now, you are probably wondering how I got around to selling the Time Share. There were a couple of really nice ladies in the Bungalow next door all the way from Canada! We watched a couple of sunrises together. We shared wine, ice cream and many laughs.

We formed a friendship and "VOILA", over she walks to tell me she decided to purchase the deed. Yup. I played, had a ball, didn't miss a moment of a good time and I CAME BACK TO TEXAS WITH THE DEPOSIT!

So, let's see...

I had the vacation of a lifetime!

I'm touting a great tan!

We watched the Shuttle Launch from the beach...how cool was that?

I sold the Time Share and the trip is a write-off!

I will leave you with a couple of my favorite pictures. The sunrise was better than a painting. Who would want to sleep through this?

Not me...Florida, I will be back soon.

Super Sunrise.

How beautiful~

Thanks for letting me share my vacation and my success! It's a great thing that she bought it or I might have! No kidding!

Later in the rain~Deb

It just goes to show that even when you are on "vacation" work has a way of creeping up. In this case it was a good creep!

DEB, I was not feeling any envy at all as I just got back from Orlando until I read "we watched the shuttle launch from the beach" and then that green eyed devil appeared.  We were there when it was supposed to go off at first but it was delayed.  We visited a cousin in Titusville (that we had not seen in 30 years) the day after it was supposed to launch.  I have always wanted to see a shuttle launch but alas I think it is not meant to be!  I will put my green eyed devil away and be glad that you got to see it for me. We need to get toghether for lunch here soon so you can tell me all about it.

Hi Deb...That would have been a nice little retreat for some of your very favorite, closest Active Rain buddies.  Are you sure it's not too late for your to buy it?
