What if?

What if............

you didn't have to work?

What if...........

you had all the money you needed or wanted?

what if...........

you didn't have to worry about paying your bills?...

would you still be working Real Estate? Do you love it? Do you love the people? Do you love the satisfaction of helping a person find their home?

If you can honestly answer these questions with..."I would want to sell Real Estate....", you are in the right business my friends...ask yourself this. If the answer is no, then go look for another job or profession.

This is serious business.  Be here only if you want to.

Deb, They will have to drag me kicking and screaming out of this business.  I am here to stay! I've been tested and tried and I'm still here.  True Realtors are a different "breed!"  After all, how many days would the average corporate employee continue to go to work without a paycheck?  Would they be willing to work 10 hours a day, 7 days a week and still not get paid ... sometimes for 6 months?  (And I'm not talking about someone who is set for life ... I'm talking about someone with a mortgage, or two, car payments and all the rest). And yet ... I'd venture to say that more of us than not have done exactly that for months on end, all the while spending money to fulfill our duties and obligations to our clients.  This is not a rant, though and I am not complaining.  I'm just saying ... this job "ain't for sissies!"  You HAVE to love it!

Denise, you are talkin'! We are a different breed. You're so right about the average person...working for nothing? Yeah right. Great point.

I'm so glad you're one of us my friend!

Hi Deb... I would definitely still be a REALTOR®.  I am a third generation REALTOR®... I not only love it, it's in my blood!

Good points. I am in the business I am in because I want to be here and I really enjoy what I am doing...

While I love real estate if I had more money then I needed I would combine my love for cooking and feeding the homeless, and would open up my own soup kitchen.

Hi Deb...I like what Richard had to say and that would be a great thing to do but I might still find time to do some real estate.

I actually don't have to work and I do have enough money for what I need (but there's always the other things we "want" for our kids and grandchildren and to donate) and yet here I am.

It sounds strange but I get a rush when someone calls and says they want to look for property.  It's as simple as that.

Guess I keep doing it as long as I get that feeling.
