Lake Conroe Has Hot Properties at a Cool Price!

Hot Property!

Now is the time to purchase Lake Conroe Property. Lake Conroe Real Estate has never been a Hotter Commodity at a better price than it is today! Not long ago Lake Conroe Subdivisions were beginning to grow around the lake and were considered very, very rural. We are rural no more! However, we are lucky to have all the amenities of City Living right around the corner and the perk of having the Feel of Rural Living on the lake.

Our beautiful body of water is fed by the San Jacinto River and was created to be used as a water supply for Houston, Texas and the clean, blue water is still being used today. Since the conception of the lake in 1973, The Woodlands grew up in leaps and bounds causing our area to blend and meld with the City Feel of Houston. Lake Conroe Waterfront Real Estate on the lake has become one of the Hottest Destinations of Houston and surrounding area residents for their chosen Lake Home Getaway and potential future retirement paradise. Only an hour from Houston the drive is perfect.Lake Conroe Real Estate and Homes and Real Estate

Whether you are looking for a simple lake home for your weekend escape or a Country Club Feel, Lake Conroe offers it all. Subdivisions including Walden, April Sound, Point Aquarious, Seven Coves, Bentwater, Corinthian Point, Del Lago and various others pamper you with your own Country Club environment.

Various amenities include Premier Pro Golf Courses, Tennis courts, Fine Dining, Swimming Pools, Marinas, Spas and just about all one would need to catch their breath daily!

Texas has only been ever so slightly affected by the economy. We are lucky because we are a Prime Area with many job opportunities, a desirable locale and a booming local economy. Remember the old addage: They just aren't making any more waterfront land!

Cool Prices!

When you examine the square foot price remember there is much more there than the build of the house! What you are actually looking at when you are given a square foot price on a potential purchase is the total price of the amenities of the property.

Amenities you can look for here on Lake Conroe range from the quality of the build-out itself, the amount of land with the house, where the land is located (like is it waterfront?), whether or not the property comes with a completed bulkhead, boathouse, swimming pool, outdoor kitchen, number of fireplaces and even the view!

Although the available homes do fluctuate and change every day, today there are 88 ACTIVE HOMES FOR SALE on the waterfront of Lake Conroe. This is a very low number of homes compared to the usual. Their prices range from $105.00 per square foot all the way up to $370.00 per square foot.

The average square foot price is approximately $165.00 overall. This is a very cool price to live in one of the Hottest Lake Areas in Texas!

I have watched the area grow since the late 70's when I lived and breathed bass fishing there. It was my favorite fishing in Texas. Now it is an unbelieveable residential area. I am sure waterfront buiyers can depend on you to find them a good place there.

Hi John, yes it is absolutely gorgeous! The water remains blue on a cloudy day and the banks are pristine and the fishing is great! When you get back you'll have to give us a call! Thanks so much.

Hey Trey, so are you getting any fishing in these days? Scott bought a boat at the beginning of the summer and we have yet to get out in it. Pitiful, huh? We will though. Life is quieting down a bit.

Good to hear from you.

Nice post Deb,   Glad to know more about the lake and glad to see how it is booming there.  You've gotta take your boat out though.  Tell Scott we said "Hi" :)

Hey Ricki, I will tell him! We still would love to live in the Hill Country! You've got it made in the shade. Literally!
