Deb's Lake Conroe Real Estate & Stuff! : Mutt, Jeff and The Motley Crew

Mutt, Jeff and The Motley Crew

Okay, so I'm almost embarrased to publish any of my AMATURE attempts of taking pictures. But you see, this gentleman, San Diego Real Estate Voice authored by William Johnson GRI CRS e-Pro CDPE

started a wonderful group called ActiveRainPhotoBlogger and now I think I'm addicted. I have been visiting the posts as they come in and the photos are absolutely beautiful. I've always had a "secret desire" to be able to take high quality photos but I have never achieved that desire.

Sometimes people get busy and simply tuck away their desires for the mundane daily grind. That's me.

For one thing, my eyes are not what they use to be. Maybe that is an excuse for blurry photos but it's just the way I see the world through these peepers. I did in fact get one good shot that I call "the twins" or Mutt and Jeff and I will share it with you. I will also include a couple of my Motley Crew with blur and all, so you can enjoy my garden with me!

I do not claim to be a photographer in any shape, form or fashion...but I love my flowers.

The Twins

I don't have much of a view from my back yard so I created a little oasis for myself...

A little Oasis

A couple of shots of the crew!

A little Oasis

They were so beautiful! And they still are! I have happy flowers!

Orange You glad you are viewing this!

More Motley Crew!

A little Oasis

Thank you for walking through my garden!

This doesn't get any better even if you do put on your glasses! (hee, hee)

Hi Charles! It's so great to see you here! I'm glad the two of you enjoyed them. We have spring in Texas very early. I get a little spoiled with all the color! Again, I'm so glad to see you! ;-)

Very nice lanai you have there.  You have obviously done a lot of work.  I am sure you enjoy quite a bit of time out there enjoying the scenery.

Larry, I love that you call it a lanai! Here in Texas we just call it a back porch! Thank you.

It certainly appears that you do have flowers to be proud of, and a great camera to capture the look!

Hi Deb... looks like you took lemons and made lemonade (or at least your own view).  Your garden is beautiful!

Isn't it fun to take pictures?  You know, I have found the editing process to work wonders for those of us whose peepers aren't what they used to be (thanks, Menopause!) You can crop, enhance color--oh there's a world of wonder out there in the after-photo world.

I wrote a blog about PicNik, a new program you might want to check out. It's free--I just started playing with it and haven't bothered with the premium at a monthly cost yet.

Hi Steve! How are you doing? It's so great to see you here. And, thank you for the kind compliment. I have a great relationship with my lanai (giggle) and it's my happy place! The other day I walked out there and a 3 to 3.5 foot snake slithered back into the rocks! Now, that was disturbing but they are really coming out here due to the drought.

Gayle, It is fun! These photos are just plain old photos. I don't often get into the enhancement part but maybe I should! I would love to read your blog and learn more! Thank you for sharing this with me. I'm like you and need no more monthly bills!!!!!

Have a great day!

I like what you've done with a small space -- lots of color and personality!
