Deb's Lake Conroe Real Estate & Stuff! : WHO AM I?

WHO AM I?

And he comes to me...I stood with my arms extended and head laid back. His breath was cool to the touch yet he was coming with such anger. The boom of his voice and the darkness that set in was proof that he was on his way. He was on his way to revisit me. It has been a long time coming.

I asked him to come each and every day. Tears fell from the time he hid from me and the lives we have lost. I knew he was there but I couldn't seem to get through. I couldn't find him, I couldn't call him to me. My pleas fell on deaf ears.

joyWith my arms up and my head back, I felt his arrival with a vengeance.

He blew his Cool breath on my neck and my arms and my legs and he caressed me as if I were a hungry child being fed a first meal.

The earth shook yet it was with the blessings of God that he came to me.

The sky lighted, the sky darkened and the sky wept. Together we prayed for the poor lives that have been lost or that we are losing to his absence.

Together we mingled  in joy and in life and we saw the sunshine for what it should be. Good, and nurturing and a precious commodity mixed with dark nights and soft shadows and curiosity. I held him close and experienced his moist kisses and blessings.

He touched me and said, "I am here". I am here just for the moment so enjoy and remember.

Remember this precious kiss...

Deb, such beautiful writing...well worth standing on my head to read...I thought it might have to do with rain and I'm so happy for you.  The TX forecasts have just been downright painful to watch this summer.  Here's wishing for gentle showers every afternoon.

Hi Deb, very nicely worded and a reminder to be thankful for all of our blessings.  I hope you will get more rain soon.

My story is not so joyful as yours - the rain was within moments of our reach and passed us by. I like your story so much better.

Hi Debb,
Nice blog.
We just had a thunder storm as well here in Mississauga tonight and I was caught in the middle.
I like when it rains but I prefer to be indoors.
Have a good one Debb

Kevin, thanks! It was heaven.

Sonja, I'm so glad you got it too~what a blessing for us. What a joy.

Mona, I wish I had a picture of you standing on your head! LOL. Thank you. We have been suffering so long and it was a true breath of fresh air!

Sondra, it was coming down with a vengeance but it did come down. I could "feel" the trees saying, "awwwww".

Teral, I'm so sorry he missed you! We are all in such need and a feeling of desperation sets in. I am trying each and every day to conserve water. He will come again and visit you! Let me know when that happens and I will celebrate with you!

Joe. Thank you for the song. I felt like singing tonight but I was afraid of running him off! Yikes!

Wandanna, it was one of the first times I stood in the rain with the thunder clapping. I was too. Clapping that is.

Gayle, thank you darling! What a wonderful and beautiful new picture of you! I love it. I love you.

Yeah on the rain! Hopefully it will come in slow and easy now that it's been.

John, I'm dancing! Yep!

Lindsey, it was very short lived. He came in with a boom and left quietly and quickly. I'm just glad for what we got.
