Not everyone can claim to have a little piece of history growing in their yard. Geat listing and thanks for sharing. DanP.S. Love the wrap around porch!

Dan Dear, I could just see you throwing your line in off the pier/boathouse! Don't you want to own a little history? I'm sure I could fix you right up. :-) Thanks for the feedback! Deb

does having the 4th oldest tree in Texas on the property have any affect on the appraised value of the property?

how do you know it's the 4th oldest tree in the entire state?

Posted by Wendy Smith, Real Estate Advisor (Wendy Smith Real Estate) about 12 years ago

Hi Wendy! The owners researched the records in Texas and based on the size of the base of tree it's the

4th largest (at least recorded). I guess we would both have to ask an appraisor about that one! The house was built around the tree in the 1960's and has been loved and protected since. I love it. Here's another cool photo! This is my daughter Melanie who is also my office manager. I am sorry I didn't have time to lighten it. Have you hugged a tree today? :-) Deb

Hi Danielle and Todd! I am just getting the hang of loading the listings so thank you for being patient. I would suggest to go to www.brooksprimeproperties.com and hit the featured listings catagory on the left bar at the top. This will bring all our listings up and it's on the first page! The tree is fantastic, huh? Deb
