Take Charge of Your Attitude and Sell More Real Estate!

IMHO...

Our attitudes, as well as our thoughts, actions and the love we choose to give are all CHOICES.

If you want a better attitude....make better choices.

Awake with a smile and a positive attitude and be glad to greet the day!

Be grateful there is work to be done. Boredom kills.

Quit grumbling and count your blessings. We all have them.

Thank our Nation for giving us the right and the choice to vote.

Thank our customers for being loyal.

Offer to help a friend, colleague, or client with no expectations.

Remind your clients that you will be there for them when they need you.

happy.jpg Happy image by Rico-fitchez01

Allow yourself only two kinds of days....good and great. It's your choice.

Your answer to, "how is business" should be "GREAT." (would you want to do business with a whiney, gripey, naysayer? Not me...

Say, "thank you" with your heart. Even if you wish the outcome were different.

Open your mind to alternative thinking...work the mind without judgement.

Be glad to be here and others will be glad to be around you!

My list could go on for days...Just remember that if you place your best attitude forward you will acquire business. You are the kind of person everyone WANTS to work with.

Believe it. Live it.

Well said, and true.  Amen, my thoughts exactly.  If you believe it is bad, well then it will be.  Just get away from me. LOL!

Lovely post!  There is money to be made in every market and staying upbeat and positive will help you make the most of every opportunity that comes your way.    Don't let any negative energy into your life and your business!   And your good attitude will affect everyone around you, and that's a good thing!

Deb.. This *IS* a great post, and one I hope that everyone reads.. for they should.  Thank you for posting this.

All day today, when every I walked by someone or talked with someone, I said "Hello, and I hope you have a nice day".  It is amazing how their faces turned from frowns to smiles.

With options like that it's kind of hard to mess up! ;-)

Audrey June, you have a fantastic name. My favorite Aunt is Aunt June and my grandbaby girl is Audrey...you must be very special.

Mary Ann, We will ALWAYS have to buy houses. It will happen. If you are in the top 100 best you will be called upon. Don't fall short. :-)

Mana, the negativity makes me work harder with my attitude...see, a  positive thing is always there.

Elizabeth, I'm so glad you're back. Congrats on you win with Lissa for the contest. You both deserved it. I cried while reading.

Retha, it's more fun to win isn't it? At this point it seems everyone would be glad if we failed...not a chance girlfriend! Keep up the great work.

Valerie, OMG, isn't it wonderful to make a person smile? I love it and it makes my soul smile. I don't mean for that to sound silly. It's just the way I feel. And, you're welcome my friend.

John, thank you. I am so very glad I've made the choice to be on Active Rain. I meet so many wonderful people like you!

Ricki, I love you girlfriend. I'm sorry we're so far apart.

marti, my friend, I love to make you happy! You are on my top 10 list. Really...maybe top 3.

Deb!  I LOVE the Happy sign :)  I have always believed for the most part that YOU chose your day...and while you can't change some circumstances, you can change your reaction to them.  Work?  Some people are just happy to get out of bed in the morning!

A positive attitude is - well - sexy or, at least, attractive.  Nobody wants to work with a "negative" person.  Think about it.  Who would you like to work with - (a) a person who is energetic and offers solutions or (b) a person who is lethargic, is a whiner and complainer, and offers no hope.

Deb, It is all about attitude; isn't it.  We can choose whether our glass is a half empty or half full.  By the way I tossed a ball your way but you have not been over to see it on my blog.

Posted by Marchel Peterson, Spring TX Real Estate E-Pro (Results Realty) almost 10 years ago

Marchy, my friend, I SAW IT. I was just hoping that little ball would roll on by but I am going to volley it on my dear. I promise. I tried to ignore it but a lot of good that did! You know I love you! I will get to it soon...I executed a nice contract today...whew. I needed that.

Deb - Thank you from the bottom of my heart for messing up my day.  Here I am content to wallow in unhappiness and you have to go suggest that I do something about it.  Haven't you heard the expression Misery Loves Company?  You could have been a friend and sat with me.  Instead you force me to consider my blessings and then kick me in the rear to get back to work.  Some friend you are :)

I rather enjoy grumbling around, at least when I am doing things by myself. Plus, I just drank some water, so now my glass is half empty.

Posted by John Morrison, Exclusive Buyernulls Agent, CBR - Boston Area Real Estate (Buyer's Choice Realty) almost 10 years ago

Erik my dear, I wrote this to ruin your day and I did it ... yea! All people should be content to wallow in unhappiness and lick their private parts...(he,he)

Even if you are miserable I would be honored to be your company! I'll bet you do have a blessing or two huh? All it takes is one and the fact that you're still here is one so there it is baby cakes! Be happy...at least be happier than sad...that would be a waste of life. Hugs, Eric. Deb

John, if you just drank a half  a glass of water then you are better off than many people in this world. And, the fact that you still have half left is such a wonderful thing...it sure beats being without! I'll bet you enjoy your grumbling around but do the other people that are around you enjoy it? Just curious. When you're by yourself you should be with the one that you cherish and care for the most. Without care for yourself you cannot care for others...you make that half glass of water sound really great! Stay in touch as I will keep my fingers crossed that you smile tomorrow!
