Deb's Lake Conroe Real Estate & Stuff! : Oh I'm Fine, I'm Fine She Says....

Oh I'm Fine, I'm Fine She Says....

Quickie laugh. I was just visiting with Marchel Peterson of Spring Texas. Marchy and I have been able to network and make money TOGETHER with the help of Active Rain.

I was visiting with her about the Real Estate BarCamp Houston we both plan to attend on Wednesday the 22, of October...

All seemed fine as we were giggling about Real Estate and other things and I heard this BLAM-thunkity-thunk-BLAM.

My reaction was Marchel are you okay??? Are you okay????

A long moment later she says...I'm fine, I'm fine, I just went over a curb!

I don't see well at night with my astigmatism....OMG,

Marchel??

Should you be driving? No she says...I don't usually drive at night...oh, here comes a very slow..ssslllooowww deer. She saw it! She saw it!

Whew. By the time she got home I was a nervous wreck.

She said, I don't think I knocked anything out of alignment!

My plea...MARCHEL PLEASE DON'T DRIVE AT NIGHT!

Your friend,

Deb

AFTER THOUGHT...I WONDER HOW MANY REALTORS ARE INVOLVED IN THE HIGHWAY STATISTICS?

SCARY.

I was in an accident on the highway on Monday. I'm sure it happens more than we would like to know. Glad to hear she is ok though!

It is sad when our friends start to have eye problems

When you think of all the miles we drive every year, we all need to be careful out there.

Jeannette, I read about your accident! Are you sore? Did the guy have insurance? I hope you are okay. That's a major jolt to be hit from behind.

Tom, Be sad for me then! I sure do. I just don't see like I use to. It's annoying,,,

JuJu, where have you been my friend? Long time no hear. I'm still catching up from the IKE experience. Yuk. I do miss visiting with you though. Give me a call.

Rich, you're right. With the miles we log it's amazing there are no more accidents than there are. Thanks for stopping by!

Deb - That is too funny! I know so many people who don't like to drive at night....

Lindsey, Marchy is such a hoot. She makes me giggle so much but tonight I was really concerned...at the same time I was laughing. I like to avoid driving at night!

Deb, hitting curbs. Not good. Marchel needs to be safe.

I loathe driving at night. I think headlights are brighter than they used to be because I have a heck of a time driving at night.  I'm glad to hear it was just a curb Marchel ran over... and that she wasn't hurt!

From someone who has a hard time driving at night I can empathize.  Especially on the dark country roads.  Oh my, I'm just glad she was alright!

I love to drive at night.  I loathe traffic.  Glad no one was hurt.  Be careful out there.

And Deb.  Thanks for the hug.  I'm just about to hit a wall here at the office today.. and it's only 11 a.m.  I'm off to have more coffee and alka-seltzer plus cold.

Sounds as if she was driving and talking on the phone??  That's bad.  I'm glad she's okay.

DEB, I knew you were going to do this. I checked the tire over and no harm done, whew (I was in my husbands car).  The good news is that I was on a blue tooth so I had my hands free to have both hands on the wheel.  I have only been talking on the phone hands free for so long that I feel like I don't have my seat belt on without my blue tooth.

As I told you I rarely drive at night although I was at a chamber after hours tonight so that was two nights in a row but I came home a different direction so didn't have to turn down a dark street.

So, that was NOT Marchel's car?  LOL  Glad she is okay and perhaps we will not drive in her area in the evening.

I'm so glad that's not my car tire! I scraped the wheel the other day on a curb I couldn't see at the bank. Now it's messed up! Ugh!

Oh, Gosh!  I just got home and had to dodge these  little guys all the way!

Posted by Patricia Kennedy (Evers & Company Realtors) over 3 years ago

I need a blue tooth.  Was driving home the other night & my phone rang-reached over to get it off the seat & swerved a little.  I was not concerned because it is a wide & well-lit road.  Then got pulled over by a cop who was behind me-he wanted to check for DUI.  Did not have to take any tests after I explained what happened, but I was mucho embarrassed.
