Deb's Lake Conroe Real Estate & Stuff! : Moon in My Trees!

Moon in My Trees!

I've read that our moon this evening is the largest it will be for the entire year of 2009. I got this shot with two of my favorite things in this world...

Our moon and my favorite old Oak tree. It was so beautiful seeing the light shine between the branches and I was hoping my camera could catch the magic.

Not too bad! I hope you like it.January 10, 2009. My moon.

I just love full moons! They are like God's nightlite. But more weirdo's come out and more animals are hit when there is a full moon.... No good comes without bad I guess.

Deb - Great job framing this shot.  I like Sherry's comment and I agree about full moons being God's nightlight.

Deb, that is a gorgeous photo of the moon, just beautiful. That is an excellent photo because night photos are the most difficult to take.

Really great shot, Hon. I'm glad the clouds passed to give you the photo op. I really dig the moonlight.

Deb, beautiful shot of the moon!  I love a full moon -- I love to sit outside when there's a full moon.  Well, not tonight -- it's too cold  brrrrrr.

Hi Deb,

That's a very cool picture!  The moon is so bright tonight that I thought I left the patio light on.

Nice Shot Deb, We're getting snow here so we missed the bright moonlight...

Beautiful shot Deb!  The moon has been like a spotlight here the last night or so...incredible!

Debra:  That is just an absolutely incredible photo.  I heard on the news about this being the "biggest" moon of the year.  It is all due to the moon's orbit.  I think I heard it said that this is the "flattest" the moon's orbit will get this year... which of course made it closer... and appear larger.  Thanks so much for sharing.

Sally:  It is raining and cloudy... not much of anything "out there?"  How can this be ?  You are in Hawaii ?  I know... this is probably the only night like this... for the entire rest of the year.  Take care...

Deb - very nice shot, I wanted to get some last night, however, in a drought, wouldn't ya know it? Rain all night, no moon.

Hi Deb,

Great shot! Be sure to post it in the "Great Shots" Group. I know they will enjoy it as much as you and I have.

Beautiful shot.  I have been trying to catch the moon just before dusk to catch it between two palm trees in my backyard.  Couldn't do it, and gave up.  You have re-inspired me!

Deb, not to bad it is fantastic.  I have tried many time to capture the moon with my camera (not a very good camera. a new one is on the list.) The moon is my absolute favorite thing. Full, crescent doesn't matter I love the moon. What a great shot I am jealous.
